What equipment do I need to start playing lacrosse?

Typically, players need a lacrosse-specific helmet, stick, gloves, shoulder pads, and elbow pads. This year, we're pleased to support first-time players by supplying helmets and sticks, courtesy of USA Lacrosse. A refundable equipment check of $100 is required at the time of pickup. This check will not be deposited and will be returned to the family when the equipment is returned at the end of the season.

Can I use equipment from other sports for lacrosse?

It's important to use lacrosse-specific gear for safety and game regulations.

How do I choose the right lacrosse stick?

For younger players, we recommend purchasing a junior lacrosse stick. These sticks are shorter, easier for kids to handle, and generally more affordable.

What are Fiddle Stix?

Fiddle Stix are akin to wiffle ball bats in baseball; they're fun and casual tools for playing lacrosse-like games. However, be cautious not to purchase them for competitive play or this team, as they sometimes resemble junior sticks but are not suitable for formal matches.

Where do we play games and practice?

Our practices take place at Franklin Pond and Wheatsworth Field in Hardyston. The games will be against local Sussex County teams.

Do we need to buy uniforms?

First-year players will need to purchase uniforms, which are purchased during registration. These uniforms are yours to keep. Returning players are welcome to use their uniforms from the previous year.
